Quelling the Noise

I sit alone, in busy street,
Observing men go by.
It feels sometimes, they’re all so cute—
Some wink to catch my eye.

I grin back, in this busy street,
And wonder who they are.
Some chests so bold and arms so strong—
Could they pull a car?

I bet some wonder why I sit
And write amid the din.
It’s how I process all my thoughts
And quell the noise within.
