The galleries connected with NeuroDivine offer two complementary ways of seeing: one through sacred imagination and digital art, the other through the quiet observation of the created world. Together they invite us to look more closely, to notice more deeply, and to discover signs of God’s presence in beauty, place, and ordinary life.
Received Light
Sacred Imagination, Wonderfully Wired
Many of the images that accompany my poems, hymns, and reflections are created with the assistance of artificial intelligence—used here as a humble instrument in the service of the Creator.
As someone wonderfully wired, I understand the varied ways our minds perceive, feel, and imagine not as accidents, but as unique expressions of the imago Dei—the image of God reflected in each of us.
I approach this work prayerfully, shaping every image so that it serves the truth, hope, and beauty carried in the words. In this meeting place of neurodivergence and faith, technology becomes simply another creative tool through which sacred imagination can flourish—helping the heart to see what the soul is singing, and inviting others into deeper worship, wonder, and grace.
A growing collection of these images is gathered at ReceivedLight.gallery, where the visual work can be explored more fully alongside the writings that inspired it.
Pilgrim Light
Seeing the Sacred Along the Way
While Received Light begins with imagination, Pilgrim Light begins with observation.
These photographs are made on pilgrimages, railway journeys, walks through towns and countryside, visits to churches and holy places, and the ordinary paths of everyday life. They are an invitation to pause, to look again, and to discover that the world is already full of grace.
Many of the images capture quiet moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed: sunlight on ancient stone, reflections in still water, wildflowers beside a path, the changing seasons, parish churches, cathedrals, holy wells, and the landscapes that have shaped Christian faith across these islands.
Together with the reflections, hymns, and psalms of NeuroDivine, these photographs encourage a contemplative way of seeing—one that recognises every journey as a pilgrimage and every landscape as a place where God may be encountered.
The growing collection can be explored at PilgrimLight.ie, where each image tells part of the ongoing story of earth and light.
