Prayers

Prayer lies at the heart of NeuroDivine.

Whether in the stillness of a parish church, beside a holy well, on a railway journey, or sitting in a dialysis chair, prayer reminds us that God is already present. We do not need to travel far to meet the Holy One; we simply need to become attentive to the grace that surrounds us.

The prayers gathered here arise from the rhythms of ordinary life. Some follow the daily offices of the Church, while others have been written for particular moments of joy, uncertainty, illness, pilgrimage, worship, and quiet reflection. They are rooted in the Anglican tradition and enriched by Benedictine spirituality, yet are offered for all who seek words to pray.

In time, this section will include prayers for different times of day, for the changing seasons of the Christian year, and for the varied journeys we each travel through life.

Whether you pray every day, are returning to prayer after many years, or are simply seeking a moment of peace, you are warmly welcome.

“Lord, teach us to pray.”

— Luke 11:1
